Bioptron Light Therapy is a quite amazing and relatively new therapeutic tool which obtains results that have to be seen to be believed.   The Bioptron device projects a specific band of light frequencies onto the area being treated.   

The type of light is classified as visible and very low calorie infrared non-cohesive polarised light. Since there is no UV (ultra violet) and very little infrared light, the Bioptron essentially can't do harm when applied, and has very few contra-indications.

All of the people at AHC are very enthused about the Bioptron, and will happily demonstrate it rather than talk about it.   There is a saying that results speak louder than words, and the results of the Bioptron machine shouts loud and clear when used on conditions that are appropriate.

Some of the conditions the Bioptron excels at helping are:

• Scar tissue, especially deep and keloid (think of thick, gnarly scar) tissue, but also acne scars and similar.

• Wound healing, with great effects on grazes, cuts, surgical wounds, in fact, almost any type of wound where the skin and underlying tissue needs to heal.

• Arthritis, with very good results in many cases. Conditions like arthritis are one of those that will either show spectacular results or no results, with the person knowing within a couple of sessions whether or not they are going to be helped by the Bioptron or not.

• Pain in an area without a known origin. In many cases, we have successfully used the Bioptron on people who had "tried the lot" and had quite spectacular results.

As mentioned above, Bioptron Light Therapy is one that essentially can't hurt and might help in many cases.
